EVENTS 2026
The "Walks in History" program returns, created with the aim of promoting the history and territory of Castel D'Aiano, but this year it will expand to include the areas of Gaggio Montano, Lizzano in Belvedere, and Vergato.
Accompanied by a GAE guide and Museum volunteers, the walks will be slow-paced and suitable for everyone, allowing you to fully enjoy a day immersed in nature.
During breaks, the volunteers will share anecdotes related to past war events, told through the memories of the protagonists.
The excursion calendar will be available soon!
Every walk or event we organize will be free or with a free donation, in order to raise funds for the Museum's self-financing.

We'll depart from Bombiana, retracing the story of Glauco and Clara, crossing Bombiana and remembering the fallen soldiers.

XXII° International Festival of History

Second participation in the exhibition promoted by the University of Bologna!
This year's exhibition will feature war objects reused by civilians in the post-war period. The exhibition, curated by Massimiliano Lucchi, will be open all day from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Museum at Via Bocca Ravari 5 in Castel d'Aiano.

The Jump Off
SATURDAY and SUNDAY, JUNE 20-21, 2026
Gathering of vehicles and reenactors to commemorate the breakthrough of the Gothic Line in April 1945.
The event will be spread over two days in the villages of Rocca di Roffeno, Tolè, and Castel d'Aiano; the Scandiano Bersaglieri Band will perform in our village.
